DJ Ripley
A member of the New York's Durty Artz collective alongside Dj /Rupture, Chief Boima and Matt Shadetek. She started the first dustep event in San Francisco, but she never remained a slave to the genre. These days, her set could be described as global bass witha a strong carribean influence which is also mixed with kuduro, baile funk, bhangr, uzbek pop, balkan beats, kwaito and occasionally Arabian dabke. Depending on the space and the audience she has been known to wander into the waters of darker bass.
