Electronic projects from breadboard to PCB

Amin Zayani

Fritzing is an open-source hardware initiative to support designers, artists, researchers and hobbyists to work creatively with interactive electronics. We are creating a software tool, a community website and services in the spirit of Processing and Arduino, fostering an ecosystem that allows users to document their prototypes, share them with others, teach electronics in a classroom, and layout and manufacture professional PCBs.

This workshop is destined to intermediate users who already know the basics of electronics, who have already prototyped a project on a breadboard and now want to put them permanently on a printed circuit board. Whether it is a controlling unit for a quadcopter, some blinking LEDs or an arduino shield, you will be offered an introduction to the basics and capablities of Fritzing as a PCB CAD software and shown examples of circuits taken from breadboard to PCB, then Amin will assist to make your own circuit, until you design a profesionnal PCB.

You will need to bring your own laptop and install the latest version of Fritzing from http://fritzing.org/download/ and a lot of good mood and positive energy.
