Center of Technical Culture in Rijeka has joined the festival program at Republika and it organizes workshops for school kids.
Kids can join world experts, activists and new media artists from creative industries, during two workshops, between July 18-20.
KODU Game Lab - Programming
2nd-graders - 8th-graders can participate and learn how to develop a game with a KODU language. The workshop will take place all three days from 9:30 am-11:30 am. This is a chance for the youngest not only to play games, but also build one of their own. The workshop will be held by a volunteer from the Center, Kristijan Vulinović.
About Computers - HARDWARE
What is hardware? What is the purpose of hardware? What is it made of? How to assemble or disassemble hardware? All this will be answered during the workshop about computers and about hardware, intended for 4th-graders - 8th-graders, and will run from 11:30 am - 1 pm, on Friday, July 19th. If applications are many, more workshops than one will be held by Dino Ilić, a volunteer at the Center for Technical Culture in Rijeka.
