Carlos Saez & Claudia Mate

Cloaque.org is an online collaborative art project by Claudia Mate & Carlos Saez. It can be understood as a digital 'exquisite corpse', which is continued every time by a different artist. Each artist is free to continue the column with any concept or aesthetic. By scrolling down, the visitor can check the whole collage from the last post to the first one, or look through each artist's body of work individually in the menu and learn more about them on the section 'map'.

Once a year, in order to celebrate their anniversary, Carlos & Claudia curate a special collective show in an audiovisual format. Following the same procedure as in the website, each artists creates an individual 30 seconds video piece. They unite each one of the pieces with fluid transitions in order to create a whole story: Cloaque.mov.
